What started out as a tiny idea -
- became the biggest event in Troutdale, Oregon's history!
Then came the Clackamas County Fairgrounds!

Event Organizers, JC Mercer Jr and Katrina Mercer set out to produce a small family one day festival...

Thousands attended the first Oregon Bigfoot Festival in August 2017. Glenn Otto Park hosted this quirky family-fun event. Merchants reported having the best one-day event sells EVER. Food carts sold out and attendees had a blast with the Bigfoot actor provided by Ravenous Studios. Celebrity, Bigfoot Researcher, Cliff Barackman from the hit Bigfoot TV show impressed the folks that attended the conference during the festival. In addition, we drew national attention from major entertainers, nationally syndicated radio shows and TV celebrities.

Yes, we faced a few eclipse issues and other hurdles. But, even Walt Disney had a tough time with his opening. 

Oregon Bigfoot Festival, LLC formed in 2018 as a result of the overwhelming success. We are honored to work with some of the worlds top leading researchers, unique merchants, artist, media and the Bigfoot community. 

By 2019 we were in production of our own Bigfoot Documentary being filmed on location by Bell/Mercer Productions Directed By Jerry Bell Jr in addition, It was also time to expand our name, new logo and festival into the paranormal, supernatural, cryptozoology and fiction reaching a brand new audience of believers. The massive event would need a massive venue and parking. After 9 months of negotiations we finally agreed on a 5 year residency with the Clackamas County Fairgrounds in Canby Oregon.  

Then came Covid.........everything stopped.

We are looking forward to the healing process of 2022 and beyond!
